My yoga teaching experience in Stephenville spans over 5 years, in 8 different locations, includes one studio fire, countless hours of practice, and even more amazing connections with people in the community. While the vision behind Happy Warrior Yoga, "to create a welcoming environment in which individuals can explore the positive impacts of yoga, breathe, and movement", has not changed given how I have changed as a teacher and the experiences had, it was time for a name change.
My hope is that CUE can support your existing wellness regime or serve as a gentle nudge in the right direction for those starting. It is a place where curiosity is nurtured and where individuals can be empowered to move better, feel better, and enjoy their best lives.
The Q behind CUE
Movement has always been of interest to me. I am fortunate to have had many movement experiences and opportunities in my life: from gymnastics, swimming, weight training, yoga, rock climbing and mountain biking. The deeper I delve into anatomy and how our brain and body function in movement the more questions I have, and the more I realize the potential that exists to use movement as a tool for physical and mental well being. This has been where I have focused my yoga education over the last several years and where my true passion lies - in seeing people move better.
In addition to self-study by way of personal practice, online webinars/workshops, and reading I have received the following certifications from in-person training:
Bachelor of Education Degree - University of Alberta
200hr Yoga Teacher Training - YogaFit Canada
RYT 200hr Yoga Alliance Certified
Kinesiology of Yoga and Therapeutic Yoga Intensive - Functional Synergy
Yoga Prehab/Posthab Teacher's Immersion 50hrs - Jules Mitchell & Michelle Theoret @ Empowered Yoga
Therapeutic Yoga Teacher Training: Restorative Yoga, Trauma Sensitive Yoga and Yoga for Emotional Regulation - Jamie Hanley @ Namaste Studios
Chair Yoga - Robyn Love @ Namaste Studios
Detour Method Online - Yoga Detour
Yoga Nidra - Bobby Bessey @ Namaste Studios

"My goal; relax, refocus, and it has to be affordable. That's when I lucked out and scrolled across "Cue Yoga" private yoga sessions. I contacted Quinn, and promptly had a private yoga session booked. Our session fit our schedule... our home, Friday evening, after our boys go to sleep. Quinn provided us with a 75 minute private session in our home! Not only did she bring her tote full of yoga accessories, but she also offered the one-on-one yoga instruction we all want but rarely get from group sessions. Quinn not only designed a yoga session based on our input during the booking stage, but she also modified her plan as needed during our session. Her sessions will fit your needs, whether you've never experienced yoga before, or if you're ready for an intense stretch.
Having Quinn come into our home offered us the luxury of staying in on a Friday night, saving the cost of a sitter and not venturing out in the weather. On top of the outstanding private service and price, Quinn is also one of the best yoga instructors I have ever experienced. I can say with confidence that you will enjoy any yoga session with Quinn, but having a private session at home is top shelf."
